To meet evolving expectations during the COVID-19 pandemic, we are taking precautionary measures and cleanliness to the next level.

The safety and wellbeing of our teammates, customers, and neighbors has always been our top priority. That is true now more than ever. That is why we are employing more stringent cleaning and social distancing practices while maintaining the high quality of your experience when you rent with us.

What we are doing

  • Offering Contact-Free Rental Options

    Customers can easily complete the rental process online or over the phone and gain access to their storage unit without the need to visit the office or sign paperwork in person. Learn More.

  • Requesting Appointments

    While we are pleased to help more customers, we are doing so with an abundance of caution, requesting customers to schedule appointment times so we can better control the number of people in our offices at any given time.

  • Installed plexiglass shields

    All of our offices have plexiglass shields at counters as a precautionary measure for our teammates and customers.

  • Practicing & Enforcing Social Distancing

    We have posted signage to remind all of us to maintain 6 feet of social distancing. We are limiting the number of customers in the office. If customers are in the office with others in their party, we ask that they help us practice social distancing and remain outside the office.

  • Disinfecting high touch surfaces

    Our teammates wipe down counters, credit card machines, bathrooms, door handles, elevator buttons, trucks and other high touch surfaces with broad spectrum disinfectant multiple times a day. We clean and clean again.

  • Making hand sanitizer available

    We have hand sanitizer at our stores for use by both our teammates and our customers.

  • Keeping masks and gloves available to teammates

    We have evolved our policy on face coverings from optional to mandatory as public health guidance has shifted.

  • Practicing good hand washing hygiene

    Washing hands with soap and water is still the best way to protect teammates and others from getting sick. We ask them to wash their hands frequently throughout the day.

  • Staying home if feeling unwell

    We are asking teammates to place extra attention on their health. If they have a fever, shortness of breath, or a cough, we ask that they stay home to rest and recover.

  • Contact-Free Payment Options

    Pay your bill without stepping foot in the office with our contact-free payment options: 1) enroll in AutoPay to automatically charge your Mastercard, Discover, Visa or American Express each month without additional fees, 2) make credit card payments in our secure online Customer Center, and 3) over the phone via our Paymentus automated payment system at 877-659-1440. A nominal fee applies to Paymentus payments.

What we ask of you

  • Wear a face covering

    We are asking all customers and visitors to please wear a face covering that covers your mouth and nose while at our facility and office.

  • Office Visits Limited to Customers

    In efforts to maintain social distancing, we ask you to please help us limit the number of people visiting the facility’s office by coming alone. Visitors are welcome to join you at your storage unit.

  • Practicing social distancing

    Please stay 6 feet from other customers and our teammates.

  • Elevators

    Please limit elevator use to only one person at a time.

  • Please stay home if you are unwell

    If you are not feeling well or have reason to believe you may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19, please stay home. We offer you the ability to complete a rental online or over the phone. You can also pay your monthly rent online or by phone.
